Casting an Addiction and Sobriety Documentary Series. Synopsis: A major cable network is developing a new documentary series that explores the real-life experiences of people both in active addiction and sobriety, who have filmed moments of their journey. This series will highlight the incredible resilience, vulnerability, and hope of those who are battling substance abuse. Participants will be compensated for their self-shot footage.

"a" IS A BRAND NEW, immersive theatre expierence that looks at mental health, mental illness and addiction. with its unique staging, ground-breaking story telling, and a twist of "real life" not to be missed, "A" surely will challenge anyone who sees it to start their own mental health journey and self care. REHEARSALS will take place based upon talent availability once contracted for the performances. expect a variety of in-person meets and zoom. We all must face “A” - A(n) Addiction, A Mental Health Awareness, A Tragic Life Event, A Cry for Help, A tear of happiness, or A Breath of Fresh Air. A takes an immersive look at what we can do as individuals and together as we all journey through our own Mental Health, Mental Illness, and addictions. After each performance, a fifteen-to-twenty-minute “audience talk-back" with the cast and audience is written into the script and is part of the immersive experience, creating a safe space for others to share anything they need to. The safe space also puts into practice one of the goals of the story: we must be vulnerable and care for ourselves, and each other.

This project centers on a woman pretending to turn into an animal. Actresses who are interested in this role can express complete creative liberty when it comes to the transformation and how it plays out. Also, the animal that the actress turns into can be up to the individual.

We hold an annual festival known as Halloween Nights. The festival features five different haunted houses, three stages for live entertainment, and educational tours about the site and its history. We are looking for scary actors and specialty performers (Dancers, Singers, instrumental performers) to provide an unforgettable experience to our guests.

The purpose of this project is to find actresses to act out the role of a female who has a spell placed on her that causes her to slowly shrink and become a Barbie doll.

The story is about a materialistic and narcissistic girl who treats people badly and has a spell placed on her by someone who she has disrespected. The spell causes the girl to slowly shrink down and become a Barbie doll, which is poetic justice because of how materialistic the girl was before.

Looking for actresses to do their own take on the Wicked Witch melting from The Wizard of Oz. This version should be thought of as the actress melting as her normal self and not as the traditional wicked witch. The actress will need to come up with creative camera angles to give the illusion that she is melting/shrinking into her clothes and her clothes are getting bigger on her. The scene needs to end with just the clothes the actress was wearing in a pile on the floor to make it look like she fully melted and disappeared.

New Life The Movie is a feature film shooting in Redding, California. The short summary of the story is, after a painful breakup shatters his sense of purpose, a skeptical
African American college freshman confronts his doubts about faith when he
crosses paths with a passionate Christian student leader who challenges him to
reconsider everything he thought he left behind.

New Life is a raw and authentic faith-based coming-of-age story about a college student navigating his relationship with Christ and all the bumps and struggles that come with it. The story follows Peter, an African American college freshman who is struggling to believe in Christianity. After experiencing a traumatic breakup, Peter begins to question his life, purpose, and identity. He blames his Christian upbringing and decides to walk away from his faith during college. At freshman orientation, we are introduced to Melissa, a college sophomore and enthusiastic follower of Christ. She is a student leader at a Christian fellowship group on campus called New Life. When Melissa meets Peter, she invites him to join the fellowship. After hearing his doubts, she compassionately challenges his unbelief. Throughout his first semester at West Coast University, Peter searches for acceptance and community. He turns to off-campus college parties but finds that they only deepen his hurt and confusion. One day while walking on campus, he is racially profiled by the university’s public safety officers. In response, Peter organizes a protest to raise awareness, but it fails to bring about change. As he continues to spiral, his current girlfriend, the one person he believed he could trust, tries to sexually assault him. By the end of the semester, Peter feels broken and lost. With encouragement from Melissa and his mother, he reluctantly agrees to attend a Christian conference. It is there that he comes to a realization: what he has been searching for all along is Jesus. In accepting Christ and reconnecting with a faith community, Peter finally finds the love, purpose, and identity he was seeking.

Looking for a STRONG singer cappable of impersonating famous female singers for an upcoming original Diva Concert.  Must be comfortable with harmonies and singing with a live band.  Dance experience is a plus, but not required.

We are a rock cover band based out of Nevada City. We are looking to produce an Diva Concert Show in late 2025. The show will feature our band playing all your favorite Diva songs from throughout the years. 3 women will headline and portray the divas. Must be: A strong Singer and comfortable with harmonies Responsible and reliable Able to travel to Nevada City studio for rehearsal (2ish times a month) Comfortable in costume and wigs Comfortable with basic choreography. I am looking for actresses to do a female version of the mouse transformation scenes from the movie The Witches (1990). Actresses can pick between the tranformation of Bruno or Luke or both. REHEARSAL AND PERFORMANCE Rehearsal commitment will be mostly nights (up to 3 nights a week) for 1 to 4 hours a night from 5/28 thru THE end of June. VERY LIGHT REHEARSAL SCHEDULE (mostly via zoom) from july 2nd thru august 7th. beginning august 8th, schedule goes back to in-person meets, with tech week beginning on September 1st, 2025, and first performance on September 4th. NOT EVERYONE WIll be called to every rehearsal. PAYA Thank you stipend FOR SELECT "OYF" REHEARSALS, and percentage of box office DURING THE THREE-WEEK RUN, depending on role. Some roles, due to the nature, have a guarenteed minimum. FURTHER OPPORTUNITIES After the World Premiere, talent may receive F.R.O.R. offer for performances outside of Sacramento, 3 week runs in los angeles and san francisco, and the film version of the event. In addition, talent may recieve a F.R.O.R for the "FRINGE VERSION" tO PREMIERE AT THREE SELECT FRINGES IN 2026, including EDINBURGH.

OUR MISSON

Yes, we think more funny Christian movies are needed, but the meaning behind the movie is much deeper. The message of the movie is to show that even though we may be completely different on the outside, in the end we believe in the same thing and that should unite us.
