Now Casting for Our Next Cult Horror-Comedy Feature!

We are hunting for bold, offbeat, and fearless actors to join our core ensemble for a series of micro-budget cult horror-comedy films. This is not just a one-off casting — we’re looking to build a recurring cast of committed weirdos, scream queens, and comedic misfits who’ll appear across all our upcoming films.

• This is an unpaid production. We operate on fun and a whole lot of grit. But you’ll receive:
• IMDb credit
• Meals on set
• Copy of the finished film
• Consideration for all future roles (we shoot 3 films per year)
• Content Warning: This is a cult horror-comedy. That means:
• Raunchy jokes and irreverent humor
• Comedic sexual situations, possible on screen nudity or implied nudity
• Practical FX with fake blood, goo, and gore
• Absurdity, weirdness, and over-the-top situations If you’re easily offended or hesitant about edgy material — this probably isn’t for you.

We’re a micro-budget production company making ridiculously fun horror-comedy-sci-fi hybrids. Think Troma meets Adult Swim meets Evil Dead 2 — all made with a crew of passionate misfits and weekend warriors. Each film is created over a 4-month cycle (mostly on weekends), using clever scripts, tight casts, and practical effects to deliver fast, entertaining cult-ready features.

Our debut film The Space Rodent. Our next film The Yellow Balloon begins production this summer, and the third kicks off in the fall.

We’re in this to build a library of wild, repeat-watch gems—and we want actors who want to be part of a growing creative family. If you vibe with grindhouse meets campy brilliance, we want you on this ride.

We’re not just building movies. We’re building a cult catalog of absurd, bloody, hilarious stories with a recurring cast of characters and creators. Think of it like a 1930’s independent studio system with contract players and no cash!! If you’ve ever wanted to be part of something weird, scrappy, and unforgettable — this is your chance to build life-long friendship and star in a slew of crazy fun films!

When a group of dysfunctional friends heads to a remote cabin for some emotional rehab, they stumble across a cursed VHS tape, a frightening undead ringmaster, and a sentient yellow balloon with possession on its mind! What starts as a weekend getaway quickly spirals into a rubber-fueled nightmare of possession, procreation, and penis-based violence. The Yellow Balloon is a horror-comedy fever dream that plays like Evil Dead II meets Bridesmaids, filtered through Dead End Films' signature blend of absurdity, heart, and pure WTF energy. It’s horny, horrifying, and helium-powered—with real stakes, real slime, and zero apologies.

"A" is a ground-breaking, immersive theatre experience that takes a hard-hitting look into all things mental health from a 3x award-winning original content and director. Everybody has an "A." What is yours? Be part of a project from the final workshop process through the world premiere.

A is an immersive theatre experience, an immersive theatre-concept that addresses our greatest enemy: ourselves. It is the playwright's strong belief that when we are honest with ourselves, and become truly vulnerable with ourselves and each other, we all must face “A” - A(n) Addiction, A Mental Health Awareness, A Tragic Life Event, or  A Cry for Help, before we can face  A tear of happiness, or A Breath of Fresh Air. After each performance, a fifteen-to-twenty-minute “audience talk-back" with the cast and audience as an open space for people to share their stories is written into the immersive experience.
